The Paraje Altamira vineyard lies in the Uco Valley on the banks of the Tunuyán River and is sheltered by the Andes Mountains. This powerful, age-worthy Malbec matures for 12 months in French oak barrels and then for 24 months in the bottle. It pairs perfectly with rich, aromatic dishes, grilled red meats such as ribeye or steak, and roast lamb. Aromas of black fruit, pepper, mint, chocolate, cassis, and tea.
